CoreTrace is the leading provider of next generation application execution control for endpoint control and security. Developed by two brothers with extensive security engineering backgrounds, Bouncer by CoreTrace is the first solution completely based in the kernel, which can deliver the highest level of security and availability without the need for signatures, updates or reactive patching of systems. Unlike security technologies based completely or partially in the user space, Bouncer by CoreTrace is not affected by user space vulnerabilities and can allow complete read/write control over applications. By enabling the read only function, Bouncer by CoreTrace can effectively prevent unauthorized code from executing.
Bouncer by CoreTrace provides proactive, zero-day protection for the most dangerous vulnerabilities, DoS attacks, viruses, spyware, bots and more. CoreTrace is headquartered in Austin, TX with development offices in Media, PA. Bouncer by CoreTrace is available today and being used by enterprise customers in industries demanding the highest levels of security and availability.
Bouncer by CoreTrace forms an infrastructure over customers' existing networks to securely manage end computing platforms. The system is entirely self-contained, and was built from the ground up with security and scalability in mind.
With Bouncer by CoreTrace, IT and security teams can quickly access, view, and change configurations on thousands of platforms. Once an organization identifies the authorized applications for any group (e.g., sales, call centers, executives) or platform (e.g., web, email, VoIP servers), Bouncer by CoreTrace users easily establish policies to allow only those applications to execute.
Bouncer by CoreTrace has a three-tier architecture that creates the most scalable and tamper-proof Application Whitelisting solution available.
1. Console provides centralized visibility and control over endpoints. Using the Console, administrators configure policies, monitor hardware/software inventory, and create event reports.
2. Managers facilitate encrypted communications between the Console and all Clients. Managers propagate factory-provided and customized policies to controlled endpoints, store relevant event data, provide failover reliability, and enable situational awareness across all managed endpoints.
3. Clients are kernel-level software modules that enforce Bouncer by CoreTrace policies like application execution and network filtering on a wide variety of endpoints (e.g., desktops, servers, and embedded systems).
Complete assurance Prevent all malicious software including spyware, viruses, trojans and worms, to the latest bots from running on your systems.
Eliminate patch Tuesday Since vulnerabilities can no longer be exploited, you can patch when business needs require you to; not when the vendors provide patch updates.
Lower helpdesk costs No more helpdesk calls because an unauthorized program was installed and slowed down the system or an untested update was deployed and caused application performance problems.
Increased availability Servers run only the applications the policy allows. This ensures the application has access to all the server resources it should for optimal performance, reliability and availability.
-Common Desktop Environments (CDE) such as hospitals, manufacturing floors, warehouses and Federal sites.
-Critical or high risk assets such as web servers and application servers.
-Mission critical servers such as email systems, VoIP call managers, ERP or CRM.
-Laptops that are remote from IT management staff or exposed to risks from networks outside IT control.
-Desktops that contain sensitive information or applications.
